A Nice Surprise

This was a nice surprise.

Sunny Interval, Edale, Derbyshire, England

I’m sure some of you have noticed that I have some photos for sale on Picfair.

They recently announced a competition on Facebook for photos in the category ‘Best of England’, so I submitted one of mine. This morning I noticed I had been placed in the top ten, so Yay for that!

I also sold a copy yesterday, which I guess was on the strength of that.

A great picture Mick. I used to take a picnic over to Edale on a Saturday sometimes, when I was much younger. It was great to take a steam train with single compartments and no corridor.

  Thanks, David. The trains running through are still small and slow – lovely! The last time we went on one, there was a jazz band playing in the corner of our coach. Didn’t see that coming! Hugs back!

Just catching up with your Blogs, so sorry for ” no comms.!” The photograph is absolutely stunning. Rightly so you are in the Top 10. It really is beautiful. I wonder if ” Visit Britain” would be interested in using this……..
