All poppies, in fact.
Since the weather is so miserable outside, it seemed a good idea to inject some colour into my life. Or into my blog, anyway.
I hope you enjoy them.

These are just lovely! Nothing like a splash of colour to cheer up a dull Monday morning. Thank you, my dear chap!

Those poppies are gorgeous. I planted some seeds this spring for an autumn flowering. I hope they look as good as these painted ones do.

I hope so, Denise. I don’t think we’ll be planting seeds here, for a while. The ground is cold and waterlogged.

Whereas it’s very hot here – unusually so.

I’m definitely jealous, although the sun has come out here in the last hour or so and it feels almost spring-like. I don’t think I should complain.

Thanks for adding some color on my timeline, Mick! My pick is second one. Don’t ask me why? It is all about visual appeal, I suppose!

I’m sure it is. And as a photographer, I’m sure your sense of that is highly developed. Thanks, Arv.

I hope so, Mick 😉
Hope all is well at your end? Must be braving a cold spell?

It’s been rather cold and miserable for a while, Arv, but the sun has come out here in the last hour or so and suddenly it feels a little spring-like. Hopefully, it will last although the forecast says lots more rain this week. I would imagine the weather must be really nice in Jaipur at the moment.

well, we didn’t have a very cold spell here. Cold wave situation which we encounter every year has been largely missing, this time! As per Indian calendar system, today is spring day. we have warm & sunny days and pleasant weather during morning/evenings. So from perspective of your country – it is summer! In short, something you will enjoy! 🙂
we have Jaipur Literature Festival starting this week!

Oh, I’d love to be there now! All my plans got turned upside down six months ago, though, and now I’m hoping I might get there next winter, instead.

Lovely colours Mick. Do you own a studio?

I’m afraid not. I have to find room to paint in the house – impossible at the moment, but hoping to manage to in a few months time.

There are quite a few on my blog, if you search under ‘paintings’. I’m also going to put up a dedicated page of paintings on there in a month or two.
