Playing around with a few photos taken last summer on the South Downs.
We’re off to walk the South Downs Way later this year, so at some point I’ll start flooding the internet with photos of chalk hills!
All we need now is a bit of decent weather.
Plan to do that walk some time – look forward to seeing the pictures and hearing the stories (and to the good weather)

Good weather…I remember good weather…I think…It’s a great walk, Peppy. We did it before in 2 blocks, but this time we’ll do the whole thing in one hit.

Amen to the weather needing to improve. Love the filter you used! The photos look like ‘dot’ paintings. 🙂

Thanks, Meg. No filters involved! Playing with the contrast plus one secret tweak!

Where is South Downs? I am geographically challenged.

They run along part of the South east coast of England, and then inland to Winchester.

I have never heard of this area in the UK. Nice effects!

Thanks, Arv. We have quite a lot of Downland in the South of England – all very typical gentle rolling hills, often grassland.
